An e-invoice is an XML file: perfect for accounting software, hard to read for people. This viewer turns a UBL file (Peppol BIS Billing 3.0, XRechnung, NLCIUS) or a UN/CEFACT CII file into a clear invoice with the seller, the customer, the lines, the VAT breakdown and the payment details. The file is read in your browser and is never uploaded.
What the viewer shows
Invoice or credit note number, dates, references (customer reference, order, contract, credited invoice), both parties with VAT number, company number and Peppol ID, every line with quantity, unit, price and VAT category, document discounts and charges, the VAT breakdown, the totals and the amount due, and the payment details (IBAN, BIC, structured reference).
Attachments and PDF
Many e-invoices carry the original PDF inside the XML. The viewer lists every attachment and lets you save it. You can also print the readable invoice or save it as a PDF with your browser’s print dialog.
Basic checks
The viewer recalculates the line totals, the VAT per category, the totals and the amount due, and checks required fields such as the Peppol IDs. It is a quick check, not a full Peppol schematron validation.
Common questions
Is my invoice uploaded to a server?
No. The XML file is read and displayed by your browser. Nothing is sent or stored.
Which formats can I open?
UBL 2.1 invoices and credit notes (Peppol BIS Billing 3.0, XRechnung UBL, NLCIUS and other EN 16931 profiles) and UN/CEFACT CII invoices (XRechnung CII, the XML of Factur-X and ZUGFeRD).
Can I make a UBL invoice myself?

Does a valid result mean Peppol will accept the file?
The checks cover the totals and the main required fields. Your Peppol access point runs the full validation when the file is sent.
